What Does Total Outstanding Represent

"Total Outstanding," shown in the summary card at the bottom of Contacts, is the sum of everything every customer currently owes you.

Steps

  1. Go to Contacts and scroll to the bottom of the page.
  2. "Total Outstanding" sums the "They Owe" column across all contacts.
  3. It updates automatically as invoices are created, edited, or paid.
  4. Compare it against "Pending Payables" to see your overall position.
