How to Add Taxes to an Invoice

Taxes in Sumung are applied at the line-item level, so different lines on the same invoice can have different tax treatments.

Steps

  1. On the invoice editor, find the Tax dropdown on each line item.
  2. Select the appropriate tax rate for that line.
  3. If no tax rates are set up yet, click "Add new tax" to create one directly from the dropdown.
  4. Totals at the bottom of the invoice update automatically to reflect the taxes applied.
