Why an Auto Rule Is Not Working in Sumung

If one specific rule isn't applying as expected, the cause is usually in how its Conditions or Applies-to scope are set up.

Steps

  1. Open the rule and confirm it's marked Active.
  2. Check "Applies to" - make sure it covers the account the transaction is in.
  3. Review the Conditions. An exact-match Operator or "Case sensitive" toggle can prevent a near-match transaction from qualifying.
  4. Test by checking a transaction you'd expect this rule to catch, and adjust the Conditions if it didn't apply.
