How to Add a New Bank Account in Sumung

You can connect a bank account automatically through Plaid, or add one manually if you'd rather upload statements yourself.

Steps

Go to Bank Accounts and click "Add Bank Account."
Choose "Connect with Plaid" to link your bank for automatic syncing, or "Continue manually" to enter the details yourself.
For a manual account, fill in Account Name, Bank Name, Account Number, Account Type (Bank Account or Credit Card), and Currency.
Optionally set an Opening Balance and its date - otherwise Sumung will use your first imported statement line as the starting point.
Click "Next" to finish creating the account.
